Personal Touch
What makes these festivals special compared to visiting a gallery is the opportunity to meet artists in person, discuss their creative processes, and learn about the inspiration behind each piece. In a gallery, art collectors usually speak with an art dealer who is knowledgeable about the work, but it’s not the same as talking directly to the artist or seeing them create firsthand.
At the festivals, you can often find Rosa and Leon working on a painting in the back of their exhibit. As they paint, they engage with art enthusiasts, sharing insights about their process, materials, ideas, and inspirations.
